EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF VASCULAR MEDICINE

We face many challenges, the burden of vascular diseases is growing worldwide as the population ages, prompting a call to action. ESVM 2023 is the place where vascular/angiology physicians and researchers get together to share their knowledge and experience, construct collaborations and exchanges.

By joining forces, we can make the difference for vascular patients.

In the 2023 ESVM congress, the scientific committee has gathered renowned speakers to discuss state of the art of a variety of topics, from peripheral artery diseases to venous insufficiency to rare vascular diseases and lymphedema.  The scientific program covers also the full spectrum of vascular interventions as well preventive vascular medicine offering the best possible education experience to all our participants.

The importance of a strong vascular medicine in the future is also underlined by the many joint sessions with other societies: the Society for Vascular Medicine in the USA, the European Society of Atherosclerosis, the International Union of Angiology and the European Society of Cardiology.

National vascular/angiology societies throughout Europe actively participate in the congress and this year we welcome joint sessions from two invited national societies: the French society for Vascular Medicine (SFMV) and the Italian Society of Vascular Medicine (SIAPAV).

The beautiful city of Milan, repeatedly named as one of the best tourist destinations in Europe, is the perfect setting for this outstanding scientific event. Being modern but also associated with great traditions, Milan has a special atmosphere and ambience recognized by all visitors.
